The new MasterChef judges have been left stunned by a “magic” dessert served on tonight’s episode.
Reynold Poernomo, who came fourth in the seventh season of the cooking show and has returned for this year’s all stars series MasterChef: Back to Win, whipped up the “dish of the competition” with his chocolate with coffee-steeped ice-cream, burnt vanilla meringue and lemon jam dessert.
It was that good, it earned him a group hug from all three judges (pre social-distancing, of course).

Reynold, 26, who owns his own dessert bar KOI in Sydney, completed the five-star dessert in a 75 minute challenge, much to the shock of the judges.
Jock Zonfrillo said he was blown away by how he managed to achieve the feat, with the dessert comprising of several technical elements.
“I don’t understand how you could do it in that time,” he said.
“Not everything you do is perfect, but my god when it is, it’s incredible. It just made me smile. It is just so good.”
Melissa Leong added, “That was about as close to transcendental magic as I’ve ever seen.
“The textures are distinct and cohesive. It’s just so highly conceived, it blowed my little noggin. I feel privileged to eat it.”
Former MasterChef contestant and fellow judge Andy Allen dubbed it the “dish of the competition”.
“It’s technically sound but overall it tastes bloody fantastic. I’m so glad I got to be here to eat it,” he added.
Tonight’s elimination challenge, which revolved around the MasterChef judges “day on a plate”, contestants had 75 minutes to create a tasty dish based on what the judges eat every day.
Ben Milbourne was evicted after presenting his not-so-tasty salmon dish.
MasterChef is a ratings winner for Channel 10 this year, with the first episode pulling in a huge 1.23 million viewers (five city metro).
That’s a better result than the debut episode of MAFS this year and is the highest rating MasterChef launch episode since 2015.
MasterChef continues tomorrow night at 7.30pm on Channel 10
