The 36-year-old Thor star cut a casual figure as he stepped out in Byron Bay on Thursday, donning a slim-fitting white T-shirt and loose exercise shorts.
Chris looked right at home in the New South Wales beach town, staying sun safe with a beige cap and sunglasses.

The sighting came just hours after Chris broke his silence on his young brother Liam's divorce with American pop star Miley Cyrus.
In an interview with News.com.au, Chris was asked if Liam, 30, had overtaken him as the fittest Hemsworth, when he made the cheeky statement.
'Did you see the Men's Health cover? I thought, "not bad kid. Not bad,'" Chris said.

'He's out there training and staying fit, and back in Australia doing his thing.'
Before adding: 'It's Australian living, I guess. We got him out of Malibu!'
Liam and Miley had a home together in Malibu, California, before their split.

The 27-year-old American singer also wrote the song Malibu about their relationship.
Liam has a home on Phillip Island, which is off the coast of Victoria, and construction has just started on a block of land that Liam and Chris own in Byron Bay.
Chris lives in Byron Bay with his wife Elsa Pataky and their three children - daughter India, seven, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, both six - in a $20million mansion.

In November last year, Spanish actress Elsa spoke about the split at a press conference in Madrid and said that Liam 'deserves much better' than Miley.
'My brother-in-law, well… after a relationship that you've dedicated ten years to, he's a little bit down, but he's coping well, he's a strong boy and he deserves the best,' she said, according to Hola! magazine.
Liam and Miley announced their split in August and finalised their divorce in January, citing they had 'irreconcilable differences'.
