A co-worker of Chinese video game billionaire Lin Qi has been detained by police in Shanghai after the founder of Yoozoo Games died in hospital on Christmas Day.

Police in Shanghai say they have detained the 39-year-old suspect, identified only by the surname Xu, over the death by poisoning of Mr Lin.
Mr Lin died on Christmas Day after being hospitalised, according to his company Yoozoo Games, also known as Youzu Interactive.
The statement said he was hospitalised December 17 and diagnosed with possible poisoning but gave no other details.
An employee who answered the phone at the Shanghai police press office said there was no additional information to release.
The Chinese business magazine Caixin, citing unidentified industry sources, said the suspect is an employee of Yoozoo's film division and was working on a Netflix adaption of the popular Chinese science fiction novel The Three-Body Problem.

Yoozoo is known for its mobile phone game Game of Thrones: Winter Is Coming, based on the popular TV series.
Mr Lin ranked number 870 among China's richest entrepreneurs with a net worth of 6.8 billion yuan ($1.32 billion), according to Hurun Report, which follows China's wealthy.
