A Nine spokesperson and Jasmine's representative declined to comment.

Karl, 45, had a serious expression on his face, while shoe designer Jasmine, 36, sat in the front passenger seat looking uncomfortable.

When they arrived at the hospital, Karl appeared nervous as he walked through the parking lot. He also reminded paparazzi outside the entrance to keep away due to social distancing restrictions.

He had a bag of essentials, which he packed on the ground next to his car.

Jasmine last shared a photo of herself to Instagram on Tuesday. She posed in a black dress while cradling her baby bump alongside the caption: 'Countdown is on.'

Jasmine's pregnancy has mostly been kept private, with only a few photos surfacing of her visible bump over her three trimesters.

Earlier this week, she told her Instagram followers she was 'currently daydreaming of meeting my new baby girl'.

Photos taken of Jasmine in a swimsuit in Byron Bay on December 14 had confirmed speculation the couple were expecting their first child together.

Karl later announced the news via Instagram, telling fans: 'After a great deal of speculation...the rumours are true.'

Last month, the Stefanovics moved into a $7.3million waterfront mansion in Sydney as they prepared to become parents.

The lavish property on Sydney's lower north shore has plenty of space for a growing family, with a total of four bedrooms across four levels.

Jasmine, who is the co-founder of footwear brand Mara & Mine, had been preparing for her daughter's arrival by decorating a nursery in the home.

She also installed a child's car seat in her and Karl's family vehicle.

Karl told Daily Mail Australia last month that he was looking forward to becoming a father again.

'We're slowly getting a nursery together,' he said. 'I've had a fair few boxes arrive at the door and I've had to get the allen keys out.

'I've helped build the cot, they've got this breast-feeding chair thing that I've put together. This is not easy stuff for a guy like me. But we are all ready to roll now.'

Karl added that he and Jasmine had yet to decide upon a name and were waiting until their daughter's birth.

'The name is something very private for us and something we're looking forward to seeing when she comes out,' he said.

'I think naming a child is one of the most beautiful and precious things you can do so we're really looking forward to it.

'We've zeroed in on about five different names and I think we've just got to see her then we'll make the decision from there.'

The birth will be tinged with sadness for Karl, whose mother, Jenny, lives in Cairns and won't be able to meet the child due to coronavirus travel restrictions.

It was previously reported that Jasmine's parents, Bob and Cheryl Yarbrough, would be coming down from Brisbane so they could spend a fortnight in quarantine then help care for the baby girl.

Karl said: 'For a while there it looked like I may not even be able to be in the birthing suite. Fortunately it looks like I'll be able to do that which is a wonderful thing.'

Victoria's restrictions to remain despite other states lifting measures - 9News

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has pleaded with Victorians to continue following coronavirus restriction guidelines ahead of May 11, when the state of emergency level will be re-examined.
Mr Andrews insisted the situation was "fragile" with no restrictions being lifted until then, despite other states including New South Wales lifting some measures from today.

"We have got to work really hard in these days leading up to May 11 to make sure that we have got options," he said.

"There are a couple of things that Victorians, I'd ask Victorians to do and keep doing. Keep following the rules. Keep staying at home.

"Keep doing the right thing by your family and every Victorian family by following those important rules. They are there for a reason. Impressive numbers, but they are fragile, things can change very quickly, this can get away from us very quickly and there is so much international evidence of exactly that happening."

There have been just three new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Victoria overnight, taking the state's total to 1364.

Sixteen of these cases are in hospital, with seven patients in intensive care.

The total number of cases is made up of 706 men and 658 women, with people aged from babies to their early nineties.

There are 140 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Victoria that may have been acquired through community transmission.

Mr Andrews warned residents not to become complacent and believe the worst is over.

"We have come too far, we have achieved too much for us to give that back, for us to fritter that hard work away," he said.

"That's why it's so impressive that despite the obvious frustration with having to live a very different lifestyle, Victorians are staying the course.

"I know it's easy to think that with such low case numbers maybe the worst has passed, maybe this is over. We saw a spike in numbers a couple of days ago. We have had outbreaks in lots of different settings right across Victoria."

Partygoers issued fines for breaches

10 partygoers have been fined more than $16,000 for breaching COVID-19 restrictions by attending a Melbourne birthday party.

Victoria Police has issued 74 across the state in the past 24 hours. They also conducted 651 spot checks at homes, businesses and non-essential services across the state as part of Operation Sentinel.

Four people drinking alcohol in a shopping centre carpark and multiple people committing criminal offences, including theft and drug offended were also fined.
