NFL star Tom Brady and supermodel Irina Shayk have sparked wildly different reactions from their exes after photos of the pair together emerged, sparking speculation they are dating.
The 45-year-old former sports star and 37-year-old Russian bombshell were spotted together over the weekend, and an insider has now revealed that they “have been in touch for a few weeks”.
Brady — who was married to Gisele Bundchen between 2009 and 2022 — recently invited Shayk to “fly out and meet up in Los Angeles”, and they appeared to be having a great time together over the weekend.
A source told People: “There is an attraction.”
Another insider has revealed that Brady and Shayk, who has Lea, six, with actor Bradley Cooper, first started talking at a wedding in Sardinia, Italy, back in June.
While Bundchen, 43, is said to be “totally unbothered” about Brady’s romance, Cooper is less so.
Sources say Cooper is very “conflicted”. Cooper and Shayk were together for four years before splitting in 2019. However, since then, speculation has swirled that they may be rekindling their romance after being seen spending time together.
A source has told DailyMail.com that Cooper still had “so much love for her”.
“She is the mother to his girl, and they are his two favourite women in the world. He feels that, for the first time, she met someone in Tom that would take her heart away from him forever.”
But he acknowledged that he had himself dated other people since their split.
“Tom is very capable of being a devoted husband and parent and husband. This is what gets to Bradley,” the source said.
Bundchen, meanwhile, is said to have moved on since her split with Brady.
A source told Us Weekly: “(She’s) happy he’s moved on because she has too. She knew he would be dating at some point and really isn’t concerned one way or another.”
Brady and Bundchen announced their marriage was over on social media in 2022.
The former NFL star wrote on Instagram at the time: “In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for our time together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the centre of our world in every way. We will continue working together as parents to ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.“
