Radio host Kyle Sandilands has shocked listeners by revealing that his one-year-old son Otto is already a millionaire, saying his great-grandfather is to thank for his eye-watering bank balance.
The 52-year-old was discussing his wealth on The Kyle and Jackie O show when he was scolded by his co-host over his spending habits after she discovered he may have travelled by private jet again.
“You’re not provided for in the Will anyway, so what do you care?” Sandilands hit back.
Jackie O replied: “I care, I want Otto to have ... you know ... this lovely inheritance one day.”
Sandilands then revealed: “Otto’s already been loaded up by his great-grandfather.
“My child’s already a millionaire. He’s already got one million dollars in his bank. Not even one, what an asshole, I’m jealous of my own kid.”
In August, Sandilands and his wife Tegan spent about $25,000 on their son’s first birthday.
The wild celebration was held at the couple’s Bellevue Hill mansion in Sydney on Saturday.
Guests included Sandilands co-star and Otto’s godmother Jackie O Henderson, who wore a white floral print dress, and The Last King of the Cross author John Ibrahim.
About 60 people were invited to the event and they seemed to have a roarsome time with a rumble in the jungle jumping castle, a giant giraffe, a Mickey Mouse impersonator and jungle rangers.
Sandilands revealed the amount he had spent on the party, saying: “It’s only $25,000. It’s a watered-down type of party.”
Sandilands loves to spend big on events. His wedding to Tegan in April cost a whopping $1 million.
