Leaked text messages between one of this year’s couples on Channel Nine’s Married at First Sight have revealed the bitterness between the pair.
Sandy Jawanda and Dan Hunjas have been entangled in controversy, mostly for Hunjas spoiling their ending after he went public with his new girlfriend during the premiere week of the hit reality TV show.
This week, the 42-year-old businessman caused more drama after he admitted he had been spending up to six hours in the gym as a way of avoiding spending time with his partner.
On Tuesday Daily Mail revealed explosive text messages between the couple.
According to the report, Hunjas had done another disappearing act on his TV wife when she lashed out and called him a “dumb c**t”.
“Can’t ever remember being called a ‘dumb c**t’ before,” the 42-year-old responded.
Jawanda then tried to call him multiple times only to be screened by Hunjas who communicated with her via text message only.
“This manipulation and TV show goes against my entire way of living. You tell my (sic) i’m a ‘dumb c**t’ is the last straw. I don’t need anything from this,” he wrote.
The leaked messages appeared to be coming from Hunjas’ point of view, but it is unknown whether he was the person who leaked the exchange directly.
The messages come as viewers hit back at the businessman for gaslighting his bride in the latest episode of MAFS.
On Sunday night, Hunjas told the experts he was not sexually attracted to his bride only to sleep with her later that night.
“I feel like we’ve slept together, and after that, he’s treated me like I don’t exist,” Jawanda said during the following night’s episode.
But there appear to be more bombshells to come with Tuesday night’s trailer teasing Hunjas had been caught talking badly about Jawanda behind her back.
