Zach Braff has taken to Instagram to send a special birthday message to his girlfriend, UK actress Florence Pugh.
The 45-year-old Scrubs actor, who has been linked to the Little Women star since April 2019, posted a series of photos of Pugh, dubbing her the “most fun person I’ve ever met”.
The breakout star is celebrating her 25th birthday.
Pugh has previously been forced to hit back at criticism over the pair’s 21-year age gap after she first posted a picture of US actor Braff in April 2020 for his birthday.
In a lengthy video posted to her Instagram page days later, Pugh said she copped horrific abuse in the comments section of the image.
“On Monday I posted a photo in honour of Zach’s birthday and I wrote a birthday message underneath. Within about eight minutes of the photo being posted, I had about 70 per cent of the comments hurling abuse and being horrid, and basically bullying someone on my page,” Pugh began.
“It is the first time in my entire Instagram life that I’ve had to turn off the comments on my page. I have never been an Instagram page that encourages that.
“I want to underline this fact: I don’t need you to tell me who I should and should not love and I would never in my life, ever, ever tell anyone who they can and cannot love. It is not your place, and really, it has nothing to do with you.
“It’s embarrassing and it’s sad. I don’t know when cyber-bullying became trendy.”

Braff kept silent at the time though in November told Mr Porter magazine his girlfriend hit the nail on the head with her statement.
“She literally sat down, hit record on her phone and said that,” Braff said.
“I thought, ‘How could I possibly follow anything as intelligent and articulate as that?’ So, I chose not to.”
