Pettifleur Berenger has responded to the sneaky way fellow I’m a Celeb contestant Ash Williams played her on national television.
The Real Housewives of Melbourne star, who was eliminated from the jungle on Sunday night’s episode, says the comedian has ruined her reputation after pretending to be interested in her.
Speaking to the Herald Sun, 56-year-old Pettifleur said: “I didn’t know he talked from two sides of his mouth.
“We were friends and my question that looked really cringing was: ‘You said you like me and I’m the person you’re interested in, and not Abbie. So if I gave you the green light, what would you do?’
“And he says: ‘Maybe I’d go for it’. Then he goes to Grant Denyer and tells what I said and he should have told me no.”

The reality TV star explained how her reputation had been ruined by Ask as she came across as an “old bag” who wanted to pursue him.
She also claimed that he showed interest in Bachelor star Abbie Chatfield to get more screen time.
In an episode of I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!, Pettifleur said that she could steal Ash from Abbie if she gave him the “green light”.

While watching Abbie and Ash cuddle in camp, she said, “Abbie is very keen and Ash is going with the flow. You can’t blame the guy, right?”
She also spoke to campmate Grant Denyer in a private conversation about how she was falling for the comedian.
“[Abbie’s] scared that he’s going to slip away, so she’s hanging tight, I reckon,” Pettifleur told TV personality Grant. “And if I give Ash the green light, she’s going to lose him.”
Grant got Pettifleur to explain what the “green light” was for, and she replied: “Oh, to have a bit of a kiss and a cuddle.
“He’s ticking all the boxes for me at the moment. He’s really started chipping away at me.”
But Pettifleur isn’t the only woman Ash has angered during their time in the jungle.
In a recent episode, Ash quickly dropped his affections for Abbie when singer and actress Alli Simpson entered the jungle.

After watching the love triangle unfold on TV, the former Bachelor star hit back on her Instagram Stories, saying it hurt to “feel like I was spoken about as though I am an inconvenience — easily discarded”.
She called the rejection a “kick in the guts” after she had already been unlucky in love on The Bachelor and Bachelor In Paradise.
“You think your love life is bad? Imagine consistently being second best on national TV,” she said.
