Weekend Sunrise co-host Matt Doran has announced his engagement to girlfriend Kendall Bora.
The Channel Seven star shared the exciting news on Instagram by posting a series of beaming photos with his new fiancée as she flashed her impressive diamond ring.
“I’m now the luckiest man in the cosmos“ he captioned the happy snaps on Friday.
The couple first started dating in late 2019 after being introduced by mutual friends.
Doran popped the question on New Year’s Eve the following year.
In an unusual twist, Kendall is the Executive Producer of a rival program that broadcasts at the same time as Weekend Sunrise on another television network.
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph last year, Doran joked the couple’s relationship was like the “morning show wars”.
“She is always furious that I am getting up an hour and a half later on Saturdays [and] swanning in to read the autocue, while she’s doing the hard work an hour and a half earlier.”
Matt and Kendall went public with their relationship in October last year by proudly posing for photos at the Everest Fashion Lunch at Royal Randwick Racecourse.
Doran has become a familiar face on Channel Seven since joining the network in 2017, where he initially worked as a reporter on current affairs program Sunday Night.
In October 2019 he became Weekend Sunrise co-host alongside Monique Wright and regularly fills in for David “Kochie” Koch on Sunrise.
The happy news comes just one day after his colleague Samantha Armytage tied the knot with partner Richard Lavender.
