WA Big Brother contestant Casey Mazzucchelli has called out fellow WA housemate Angela Clancy following their fight on last night’s episode of the show.

Clancy was evicted from the show and unleashed her true feelings on the housemates about their lack of gameplay, particularly aimed at Mazzucchelli who was more concerned with her “tan” according to Clancy.

Mazzucchelli has taken to social media to write a lengthy post addressing the “rude” statements said by Clancy.

“Yikes,” Mazzucchelli wrote.

“First things first Angela played a fierce game both mentally and physically. I have never denied that.”

“Angela has now... used slurs such as “beast, idiot, pig, b***h... I urge you to see the hypocrisy,” she said.

“This is the last I have to say on this matter. Now let’s get back to laughing at ourselves…”

Big Brother contestant Casey Mazzucchelli has taken to social media to accuse Angela of being a “bully”.

She continued to explain that her friendship with male housemates Daniel Gorringe, Matt Garrick and Xavier Molyneux was genuine and not a ploy.

“Secondly, and one the things that has haunted my entire life … I have always been friends with boys,” she said.

“I would like to point out both Daniel, Matt & my friendship with Xavier is something I will forever cherish & the legitimacy of it I will not let be questioned by strangers – regardless of my gender.”

Mazzucchelli added that her boyfriend is a “person of colour” which meant she would not tolerate any racist comments on her posts and perpetrators would be blocked.

“Lastly, I will say this once and that is all. My boyfriend is a person of colour – From here on out the racism comments will be block and deleted, period.,” she wrote.

Kim Kardashian billionaire: Kanye slammed for congratulating his wife on Twitter - NEWS.com.au

Kanye West has publicly praised wife Kim Kardashian for securing billionaire status today, but his congratulatory message – which featured a bizarre photo of vegetables and flowers – has backfired.

Responding to West’s tweet, many fans were quick to call out the mega-rich couple for their tone deaf social media presence, flaunting their eye-watering wealth as millions face unemployment in the US amid the global pandemic.

It comes after 39-year-old reality star Kim’s KKW beauty brand was valued at a billion dollars, with Kanye himself labelled a billionaire earlier this year.

The rapper, 43, wrote to his Keeping Up with the Kardashians star wife; “I am so proud of my beautiful wife Kim Kardashian West for officially becoming a billionaire.

“You’ve weathered the craziest storms and now God is shining on you and our family.”

Along with his tribute, in a very Kanye move, he shared an image of fresh produce and flowers laid out in the sun. Naturally.

“So blessed this is still life,” he captioned. “So I made you this still life.”

“We love you so much,” the musician added.

The message – particularly the reference to long-running reality star Kim “weathering the craziest storms” – rubbed many social media users the wrong way.

“Is this really the time to announce pride at your wife becoming a billionaire?” one said.

“I’d suggest those who have somehow kept their businesses afloat and/or recovered from COVID have ‘weathered the storm’.”

Another added, “Billionaire being a measure of success when black people are dying, the world is burning and the economy failing. OK.”

To make matters worse, the tweet comes shortly after Kim was photographed heading to a celebratory lunch in LA without a face mask, despite recommendations from LA county Department of Public Health to wear one in public.

Beauty conglomerate Coty recently acquired a 20 per cent stake in Kim’s KKW Beauty, valuing the cosmetics and fragrance business at $US1 billion ($A1.4 billion).

“The deal is for a long-term strategic partnership to launch products in new beauty categories and expand across the globe from top to bottom,” TMZ reported Monday.

Sources have also told the site that Coty acts as a licensee for skin, hair, personal and nail products, giving Kim the potential to expand the KKW Beauty brand’s services.

The mum of four – who shares kids North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 1, with Kanye – announced the news of her Coty deal via a statement.

“Partnering with an established organisation like Coty will be instrumental in the advancement of my brands as their global reach allows for faster expansion so people around the world are able to experience new launches first hand,” she said in the release.

“This relationship will allow me to focus on the creative elements that I’m so passionate about while benefiting from the incredible resources of Coty, and launching my products around the world.”

Over on Instagram, she told fans she felt “so blessed and forever grateful” beneath an all-beige snap.

Kim’s news comes just weeks after little sister Kylie Jenner, 22, was stripped of her billionaire title by Forbes, who had earlier declared her one.

The publication claimed Kylie lied about her wealth and the amount of taxes paid.

Anne Hathaway reveals Christopher Nolan’s bizarre chair rule for movie sets - NEWS.com.au

He’s made some of the most acclaimed films of the 21st century – and it seems director Christopher Nolan runs a tight ship.

Actress Anne Hathaway, who played Catwoman in Nolan’s 2012 Batman hit The Dark Knight Rises and worked with him again two years later on Interstellar, reveals the director has an unusual rule on his sets.

“Chris also doesn’t allow chairs. I worked with him twice. He doesn’t allow chairs, and his reasoning is, if you have chairs, people will sit, and if they’re sitting, they’re not working,” Hathaway says in a video chat with fellow actor Hugh Jackman for Variety.

“I mean, he has these incredible movies in terms of scope and ambition and technical prowess and emotion. It always arrives at the end under schedule and under budget. I think he’s onto something with the chair thing.”

As the interview circulated, some social media users mocked “the chair thing” and Nolan’s reputation as a tough director:

Hathaway also revealed Nolan banned mobile phones on set – a less unusual request, given Jackman said that two other directors he’d worked with, Darren Aronofsky (The Fountain) and Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners), both applied the same rule.

“Both of them had exactly the same reason, which is exactly what you were saying: It’s about intentionality. Both of them talk about the space being sacred. If you’re on a cellphone, it dissipates that energy,” said Jackman.

Despite the chair and phone-free environment, Hathaway was glowing in her praise of working with Nolan: “You know how you have those jobs and you just go, ‘I don’t know how I’m going to work again because this was such fun?’” she said of her stint as Catwoman.

Elsewhere in the chat, Hathaway jokingly accuses Jackman of “setting me up badly” by inviting her to appear on stage when he hosted the Oscars in 2009.

“You made it seem easy, and it’s really, really not,” she said. “You made everything seem like it was so much fun, so when it came around that they asked me to do it, I thought, ‘I’m gonna be like Hugh, yeah I’ll give it a go!’ How could you?”

Hathaway famously hosted the Oscars two years later alongside James Franco – generally considered to be one of the worst ceremonies in recent years.

In a BBC interview that recirculated recently, Hathaway offered up an unusual story about her original audition for the role of Catwoman.

Somehow, Hathaway got her wires very crossed – and thought she was auditioning for the role of Harley Quinn, an accomplice of the Joker. She made sure she dressed the part for the audition, channelling the Joker’s menacing clown energy.

“I came in and I had this lovely Vivienne Westwood kind of beautiful-but-mad tailoring top with stripes going everywhere. And I wore these flat Joker-y looking shoes. And I was trying to give Chris (Nolan) these crazy little smiles,” Hathaway explained.

“About an hour into the meeting he said ‘Well, I’m sure I don’t have to tell you this, but it’s Catwoman.’ And I was shifting into a different gear. ‘Now OK, we’re slinky. We’re slinky. And I hate my shirt. I love my shirt, but I hate it right now. We’re slinky,’” she recalled with a laugh.

Big Brother star Angela ‘disappointed’ by backlash over eviction - NEWS.com.au

Big Brother evictee Angela Clancy proved why she’s this season’s standout star in a lively interview on Sunrise this morning.

Speaking to hosts Sam Armytage and David Koch, Angela confessed there were real feelings behind her flirtations with the disembodied voice of Big Brother during her time in the house.

“That voice... oh my gosh. The first night I went home to my husband, I said, ‘You’re not Big Brother. Can you give me the voice?’ There’s just something about that voice that used to... oh my god, you know?”

“Back up. What did you husband do? Could he do the voice?” asked Armytage.

“No, he can’t! And he would put me off trying to... you know,” said Angela, as the hosts collapsed into fits of giggles. “You have to be authoritative and... give me something! That voice, ohhhhh....”

Angela said she was hoping to finally meet the man responsible for Big Brother’s dulcet tones in person at the show’s reunion.

In a move Big Brother fans were dreading, Clancy was voted out of the house in last night’s episode – and this time, there was no secret bunker to save her. Angela went out all guns blazing, slagging off several of her fellow contestants in the final moments before voting. It was the exact time she should be pleading her case to stay – but Angela told news.com.au today she had no regrets about her fiery exit.

“It was like a pressure cooker in there, and I knew my time was up. I thought, I’m just going to say how I’m feeling. And that’s exactly what I did!”

Angela’s exit from the game saw her loyal fanbase make a familiar threat on social media:

But surprisingly, ‘Queen Ange’ is more “disappointed” than flattered by this show of loyalty from her followers.

“That’s a bit disappointing, saying you’re not going to watch the show. If you love me, well that’s the show that introduced Australia to Angela. There wouldn’t be Angela without Big Brother. I would encourage everybody to continue watching – I am. We started this together, we might as well finish it together,” she said.

It seems Big Brother producers knew before the show aired that they had a star on their hands in Angela, given her move to a secret bunker and reintroduction back into the game after the housemates tried to vote her out the first time.

“I never wanted to try and find out why they kept me. It’s a golden ticket – you take it and run, just in case somebody takes it away from you,” she said of the bunker.

“But I knew it was not going to happen a second time. I knew (last night) I was going home to Perth.”

Angela was undoubtedly one of the season’s most pampered housemates – much of last night’s episode was spent complaining about having to camp in the backyard for one night – but she had a steely determination when needed. She won several gruelling physical challenges, outlasting much fitter housemates by employing mind over matter.

“I’m not very physical but I’ve got mental strength, and I think that's more important. That’s why you saw me last in challenges longer than anyone else, even though I don’t go to the gym. I can switch off – in the box challenge (contestants had to stay confined in small boxes in pairs for a whole day), you saw me tell Xavier ‘let’s go to Hawaii.’ I can go anywhere!”

Ultimately, Angela has a simple message for her former housemates, some of whom may still be smarting from her pre-eviction rant.

“It’s not personal, it’s a game … I just wanted people to play the game I was playing.”

Pierce Brosnan pays tribute to late daughter in Instagram post | Photo - NEWS.com.au

Pierce Brosnan took to Instagram to mark the seventh anniversary of the death of his daughter Charlotte Brosnan.

The former James Bond star shared a snap from his Hawaii home taken by his wife Keely Shaye Smith, which revealed a touching tribute to the late mother of two.

“Here’s looking at you kid,” the 67-year-old captioned the photo. “In remembrance of Charlotte and with happy birthday wishes for my darling Marley May.”

Marley May is Brosnan’s granddaughter who turned five this month.

Charlotte died on June 28, 2013, at age 41 after a battle with ovarian cancer, the Daily Mail reported. According to the outlet, it’s the same disease that claimed the life of her mother and Brosnan’s first wife, Cassandra Harris. She died in 1991 when she was 43.

Charlotte is survived by her husband and two children.

The outlet shared Brosnan became Charlotte’s adopted father when he married Harris in 1980. Harris had two children, Charlotte and Christopher, 46, from a previous marriage to producer Dermot Harris, who passed away in 1986.

Harris and Brosnan’s son Sean, 36, is the father of Marley May, whose middle name is Cassandra in tribute to her late grandmother.

A year after Charlotte’s death, Brosnan reflected on losing the two women who influenced his life at the Stand Up To Cancer telethon.

“To watch someone you love have his or her life eaten away bit by bit by this insidious disease, that kind of sorrow becomes an indelible part of your psyche,” he said at the time.

“I held the generous, strong, beautiful hand of my first wife Cassie as ovarian cancer took her life much too soon,” he said. “And just last year, I held the hand of my funny, wonderful daughter Charlotte before she died from this wretched, inherited disease.”

Brosnan found love again and met Keely Shaye Smith in 1994. The couple tied the knot in 2001 and have two sons.

In 2018, Brosnan told Closer Weekly Smith had helped him overcome personal tragedy.

“You have to trust and follow your heart,” said the former 007 actor, “and try to meet the best people in life. When Keely looks at me, I go weak. I love her vitality, her passion. She has this strength that I wouldn’t be able to live without … I found a great woman in Keely. Not if I searched a million times over would I find one as good.

“There are so many lessons you learn each day and each passing year,” he said. “It’s important to have good faith in yourself and to know yourself as much as you can, and then to go out there and do good things.”
